Mrs Elise LeBlanc, 82, wife of Camille H. LeBlanc of Villa Providence, Shediac, died Saturday at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a brief illness.
Born in St Charles, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Gertrude (Daigle) Chevarie, and attended St Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.
Twice married, her first husband, Albert Bourque, died in 1974. Besides her second husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs Henri Bourque (Yvette) of Cocagne; a step-daughter, Mrs Raymond Léger (Anne-Marie) of Barachois; a sister, Mrs Irene Scanlon of Toronto; two brothers, Edmond of Richibuctou and Emery of Halifax; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters, Régina, Céleste and Dora; and two brothers, Albert and Alyre.
The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated today at 4 p.m. at St Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Burial will be in the Pré-d’en-Haut Roman Catholic cemetery.
